Designed mobile ticketing for the largest arts festival in the world
Designing a mobile ticketing system that was intuitive, quick, and reliable was our key objective for the official app. We did this through frequent user testing and close collaboration with the back-end development team.
The mobile apps now typically attract 24 million sessions during the festival, and around £1m in ticket sales. In contrast to the website, over half of tickets sold through the app are bought within 24 hours of a performance, validating our assumptions that festival goers need a just-in-time, frictionless purchase experience.
